Zuko started the new year off right! 🙌This weekend he earned his RATS title for Senior Barn Hunt with another High in Trial! He also qualified on his very first run in Masters in just 2:19!!! We tried a thing. 💙Cobalt and I made our conformation debut a couple weeks ago. He is from our ‘E’lements Litter. I’m a novice with a hopeful wonky pup right now, and I decided to give it a go anyway. I was fully prepared to make a fool of ourselves, mess up, and just have fun experiencing the show world together. We were a bit of a hot mess in places, but in the middle of all the chaos, there was something really beautiful. We tried. We showed up as a team. We listened. We accepted the challenge for the sake of growth. We were willing to be bad at something new, together. He is the sweetest soul and so eager to learn, and I’m so grateful we did this. Cobalt actually ended up placing second in sporting group a couple times, but more importantly, we walked away with encouragement and respect for those who campaign their dogs. Hearing judges say my bred-by boy was a really nice dog meant more than any ribbon. The ‘E’lements have kept us busy! 😉 We haven’t had a chance to get back with everyone about our upcoming socialization party. This week now, we have been moving the pups into a bigger playpen, so space could be more limited. We likely need to break up the visits into time slots since the puppies get tired quickly and usually do best with 10–15 minutes at a tim. We try to schedule around feedings! 👉 If you’d like to come this Sunday afternoon/evening, please let us know again, so we can try our fit you in🤞 But, if anyone wants to lend a hand with our daily adventures, whether that be with our puppies or adults, we would love the help! There’s plenty to do—vacuuming, cleaning floors and counters, laundry, baths & blow outs and nails, training, prep for puppy socialization parties, and outings. Parties & outings especially are a big production (playpens, gear, crates, car rides, planning), so if you’d be up for the hard work with all that entails, let us know. Things will only ramp up more each week! As the puppies grow, so do their weekly goals! We’re working day in and day out to keep the puppies safe and happy and mold the most well-rounded pups out there! 🎉
If you came last week to play with our pups, we invite you to attend again. It’s so fun to see the changes these puppies make week-by-week! We’re evaluating our options for temperament testing and conformation evaluation in a couple weeks. If you have recommendations, let us know too.
Lastly, if some of you were wondering, we currently have at least one male and one female available. A couple of families on our waitlist had life changes come up. Go home is expected to be September 27th. These are purpose-bred, professionally-raised Golden Retrievers from a combination of service-dog and conformation champion lineages. Parents and grandparents (and so on) are fully health tested.

We need suggestions of words that starts with the letter E that we can use as a theme to name each individual puppy. Like “Easter” and puppy names “egg” “bunny” etc. although obviously I don’t want that theme haha! Words need 7 letters or less that have a cool meaning that we could name the puppies under. 🎉 We Have Puppies on the Way!

We’re thrilled to announce that Allya is officially pregnant! 💕 Her ultrasound confirmed what we were hoping—little puppy toe beans on the way!

This is a very special litter, thoughtfully planned with the goal of producing puppies with the temperament, health, structure, and trainability to thrive in service dog roles and as exceptional, well-adjusted companions. We are so excited for this pedigree! 🫶

Allya has been an incredible example of intelligence, steadiness, and sweetness—and we can’t wait to see those qualities passed on to the next generation. Sire, Mortimer, is a lovely inside-and-out champion show dog. Both parents are fully OFA health and genetic clearanced. Allya possesses the top 5% hip scores for the breed via pennHIP amongst other incredible qualities.

This is Allya’s first litter. Puppies are expected to arrive around July 23-26th.

🐕 As Certified Professional Dog Trainers, we take pride in our intentional puppy raising protocols to shape THE best puppies out there! We use early scent introduction and early neurological stimulation the first few days of life, daily individual handling, and age appropriate socialization goals each week through a combination of Puppy Culture and AviDog procedures and over a decade of experience in raising puppies to be service dogs. We begin crate training, potty training, clicker training, sound desensitization, exposure to novel sights and environments, grooming intro, car exposure, and more.

We welcome applicants to meet with us and our wonderful dogs in Houston, TX!✨

At the heart of our program is a commitment to excellence in early puppy development. We utilize ENS (Early Neurological Stimulation), ESI (Early Scent Introduction), Puppy Culture, and the AVIDOG Transformational Puppy Rearing Protocols to give our puppies the best possible start in life. As experienced Certified Professional Dog Trainers and service dog specialists of nearly 15 years, we bring a unique perspective and standard of care to every puppy we raise.

Our puppies begin life in our bedroom and gradually transition to other areas of our home, ensuring they’re constantly surrounded by the sights, sounds, and routines of daily life. We conduct daily handling like weigh-ins, nail trims every 3 days, baths and blow drys at least weekly, all of which help build confidence and handling tolerance from an early age.

Socialization is intensive and purposeful guided by professional trainers and carefully structured interactions with the public and future puppy families. We utilize positive training, as a result, our puppies are confident, resilient, stable, affectionate, intelligent, and healthy—ideal candidates for service dog, therapy dog, or exceptional companion or sport roles.

Our puppies are purposefully bred to balance drive and temperament—possessing the enthusiasm and athleticism to excel in retrieves and sports, while also having a reliable “off switch” that makes them a joy to live with as family companions. Our dogs are generally described as “medium” energy and “easy.”

For our upcoming litter, we are aiming high: this litter comes from two conformationally correct and complementary parents, thoughtfully paired with the goal of producing puppies suitable for service roles. Both parent dogs are fully health tested up to date and have earned titles that speak to their structure, temperament, and biddability.

This breeding represents a deliberate blend of lines—merging the soundness and temperament typical of Assistance Dogs International (ADI) Breeding Cooperative service dog stock with the elegance and correctness of conformation bloodlines.
